How it works

  1. You reserve.

Pick a weekend, a 30-minute arrival window, and one of three styles. Pay in full and the window is yours. Your confirmation comes by text.

  2. We style it.

A uniformed crew arrives inside your window and builds the porch to your home's architecture. A text when we're on the way, a before photo when we start, after photos when we finish.

  3. We clear it.

When the season turns, we come back for every piece, sweep, and compost what we can. Included with Grand Entry. A simple add-on for every other size.

Styles

Three complete design languages.

Modern, Traditional, and Transitional all start in the same place: your front door, the stone or stucco around it, and the lines of the house.

Ghost & Slate

Modern

Ghost whites and slate-blue heirlooms. Clean lines, room to breathe.

Tone-on-tone whites and blue-gray heirlooms in tight single-variety groups, lifted on matte-black risers. Negative space does half the work. For architecture that already speaks.

Harvest

Traditional

Cinderella red, deep orange, and a full cascade down the steps.

Rouge vif d'Etampes reds and classic orange stepping down the stairs in layered drifts, warmed with straw, corn stalks, wheat, and rust-gold mums. The porch you remember, done properly.

Heirloom Neutral

Transitional

Muted heirlooms, olive, and linen. Collected and quiet.

Tan, blush, sage, and cream heirlooms layered with olive branches, eucalyptus, and dried grasses in woven baskets. Made to sit against stucco, limestone, and shingle without shouting. Our most versatile style.

The experience

On time. Quiet. Spotless.

  • A 30-minute arrival window

You choose a window, like 8:00–8:30. We arrive inside it. If we're ever running behind, you hear it from us first.

  • A text at every step

Booked. The day before. On the way, with an ETA. Arrived, with a finish time. A before photo. Done, with after photos. You never have to ask where things stand.

  • A quiet, uniformed crew

Porchmode uniforms. No music, no smoking, no raised voices. We never enter your home, and we close and latch every gate behind us.

  • Your surfaces, protected

A tray under every mum. Pads under anything that sits on stone or wood. Nothing on the lawn, over a sprinkler line, or across a drain.

  • Swept and blown down

Every install ends with the steps and walk swept, the doormat shaken out and set back exactly where it was, and every scrap bagged and gone with us.

  • Discretion by default

We photograph your porch for your private gallery. It never appears on our social or site unless you opt in at checkout. Even then: no house numbers, street signs, plates, faces, names, or streets.

Add-ons

Questions

What do I actually get?

A porch designed for your home and set in one visit: heirloom and specialty pumpkins, potted mums, and, depending on size and style, risers, bales or baskets, seasonal stems, and lanterns. Piece counts for every size are on Packages.

Do I need to be home?

No. Most clients aren't. Add gate, HOA, and pet notes when you book. We don't ring the bell unless you ask us to. You get a text when we're on the way, when we start, and when we're done, with photos.

How long will it last in Orange County heat?

Uncarved heirlooms on a Southern California porch usually look good for about four to eight weeks. Hard afternoon sun, Santa Ana winds, and marine-layer damp shorten that, and whites show age first. We place pieces out of afternoon sun where your porch allows, and we never carve. Mid-season, the Thanksgiving Transition replaces anything that has tired.

How do I keep it fresh?

Water the mums every day or two in heat, at the soil, not over the blooms. Keep the pumpkins dry and never lift one by the stem. We text a short care note after your install. If a piece gives out early, text us a photo and we'll take a look.

What if it rains?

Rain rarely stops an install, and pumpkins handle a shower. If conditions are unsafe, we text you and move your window to the next open time that works for you. If none works, you get a full refund.

We have a guard gate or an HOA. Is that a problem?

No. Add gate instructions and HOA rules when you book and we design within them. If your HOA needs vendor paperwork, tell us when you book. Gate codes stay in your booking notes. We never text them back.

What about pets?

Keep pets inside during the install and note them when you book. If a dog is loose in the front yard, we won't come in; we'll call you. Every gate gets closed and latched behind us. One more thing: mums can make dogs and cats sick if chewed, so tell us about a curious pet and we'll set them out of reach.

How long does the install take?

About an hour for Doorstep, about 90 minutes for Front Porch, and a reserved half-day for Grand Entry. Your arrival text includes an estimated finish time.
